Wilma Parker

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Louise Parker, age 88 of Antioch, TN and formerly of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday, September 1 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Tim Frank will officiate. Mrs. Parker's family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Parker died Friday evening August 28, 2015 at her home. She was born February 15, 1927 in Cookeville to the late Jefferson Sewell and Lena Jane Jacques Bullington. Mrs. Parker has been a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church for over 73 years was a retired Administrative Assistant with The Chrysler Corporation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orman Parker; two sisters, Myrtle Johnson and Marie Garcia; and her brother, Everett Bullington. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Norman Beach of Antioch; two granddaughters, Alexandria Ayoubi and Jessica Napier; and three great grandchildren, Rhiannon Ayoubi, Cianan Napier, and Tosh Ayoubi. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
