Willodene Hargis

Funeral Services for Mrs. Willodene Spears Hargis, age 76, of Cookeville, will be Saturday, February 21 , 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Perkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Mrs. Hargis entered into rest Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1938 in Cookeville, TN to the late William Everett Spears and Mildred Roberta Thomas Spears. Willodene was a loving, kind and caring lady she was giving to her family and friends. Her greatest joy was Heather and Ryan. She was a faithful member of The Church Of Christ Of Latter-day Saints. She held many positions and served them well. She loved her son and was proud of his accomplishments. She will be missed by many. Willodene is survived by her son; Steven Craig Grogan of Salt Lake City, UT, two grandchildren; Heather Roxanna Grogan of Salt Lake City, UT. and Ryan Steven Grogan of Nashville, one brother; Charles Spears of Winchester, TN. Mrs. Hargis is preceded in death by her first husband; Payton Grogan, one sister; Joyce Faye Hood and also her former husband; Claude Hargis. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
