William "Bill" Hankins

William "Bill" Roger Hankins, 83 died Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at NHC of Cookeville. His wishes of cremation and no services are being honored. He was born March 15, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to the late George and Gladys Sursaw Hankins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Bill retired from General Motors of Detroit with over 44 years of service in quality control. He and his wife moved to Cookeville in 2010. They attended Life Church. He enjoyed working in his yard, and being with family and friends. Survivors include wife Theresa Lonier Hankins of Cookeville, daughter Brenda Marie Hankins of California, sons Roger (Pam) Hankins of Michigan, Douglas (Cindy) Hankins of Granledge, MI, sister Carol Hrymecki of Ovid, MI, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
