Graveside services and interment with military honors for Wallace Clarence "Wallace C." Smith, 79 of Deer Lodge, TN., will be Sunday, July 9 at 2 PM (E.S.T.) at Adams Hill Cemetery in Morgan County, TN. Rev. Drew Shelley will officiate. Mr. Smith died Friday morning, July 7, 2017 at Standing Stone Care & Rehab Center in Monterey. He was born Sunday July 3, 1938 in Morgan County to the late Rev. Clay E. and Charlotte Aytes Smith. Wallace C. was an Air Force Veteran and retired from the Tennessee Department of Corrections as a truck driver with 28 years of service. Survivors include his former wife and mother of his children, Ann Harlan Smith of Deer Lodge, TN; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Gerald Prichard of Meridianville, Al, two sons and daughters-in-law Jeffrey and Janice Smith of Grimsley, TN, Gregory and Sue Smith of Deer Lodge; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister Grace Steele of Dunlap, brother J. Harold Smith of Athens, TN. Active Pallbearers will be Greg, Jeff and Corey Smith, Mack and Jeremy Steele, Les Lindsey and Gerald Prichard.
