Virginia Stone Dale

May 6, 1935 — June 11, 2024

Virginia Stone Dale passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Born on May 6, 1935, in Russell, Arkansas, Virginia's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her compassionate service to others, and her delightful sense of humor.

Virginia's early years were spent in the nurturing care of her parents, John Parrigin and Louetta Raueser Parrigin, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her three husbands, Jess Martin, Mahurine Mack Stone and Clyde Dale. Her journey led her to a life of service in healthcare, where she worked with commitment and empathy at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, Kentucky. Virginia continued her vocation in home health nursing in Cookeville until her retirement. Her passion for helping others extended into her volunteer work at Habitat Restore in Cookeville, where she continued to make a difference in the lives of those around her.

Virginia's love for taking care of people was only matched by the love she had for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her daughters, Sheila Mulanix, Wanda Scofield, Sylvia Losee, Connie Leeke, and Jessica Bain; her sons, Jesse Martin Jr., John Martin, and Mack Stone Jr.; and her step-daughter, Debbie Antonucci. Virginia's joy was multiplied by the presence of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will remember her for her warmth, laughter, and the loving care she showered upon them.

Those who knew Virginia will fondly recall her great sense of humor, which brought light and levity to any situation. Her ability to see the joy in life and to share it with others was one of the many gifts she gave to those around her. Virginia was a beacon of love, and the words that best describe her are indeed 'loving,' a testament to the way she lived her life and how she will be remembered.

In accordance with Virginia's wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest in a private interment at Arlington of Tennessee Cemetery. Virginia's life was a journey of love, laughter, and service, and her memory will be treasured forever.
