Virginia Green

Memorial service for Mrs. Virginia Lou Green, age 83 of the Lake Tansi Community of Cumberland County, will be held at a later date. Mrs. Green died Saturday afternoon April 18, 2015 in Cookeville Regional Medical in Cookeville, TN following a sudden illness. She was born May 19, 1931 in Lynch, Kentucky to the late David and Goldie Richardson Burt, SR. She was a long-time member of First Christian Church in Oak Town, IND and since living in Crossville has been attending First Christian Church of Crossville. Mrs. Green was a member of Lake Tanisi FCE (Family Community Education); an avid Bingo player and enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Williams and three brothers, David Burt JR, John Richard Burt, and William Burt. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Randy Wolfe of Lake Tansi; grandson, Randy Wolfe, JR, and great grandson, Matthew Wolfe, JR both of Issaquah, WA; six nephews and five nieces.
