Virginia E. Marsh

Funeral Services for Virginia Elise (Price) Marsh, age 90, of Howell MI, will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Wilhite Baptist Church at 2:00 pm burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, January 19, 2013 from 4:00 pm. until 8:00 pm. In the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home and also on Sunday morning January 20, 2013 from 8:00 am. until 12:00 pm. Ms. Marsh entered into rest January 16, 2013 at Medilodge of Howell in MI. She was born April 6, 1922 in Putnam County TN to the late John Hillary Price and Ova Edna Messenger Price. Ms. Marsh was a homemaker, magnificent cook, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Virginia was considered the backbone and strength of the family. Virginia is survived by her husband; David E. Marsh, three children; Danny (Valerie) Marsh, Mike (Rosie) Marsh and Larry (Carrie) Marsh all of MI. Ms. Marsh is also survived by two sisters; Era Mae Marsh and Mildred (Elmus) Lane. Grandchildren; Danielle, Marissa, Matt, Billy, Scotty, Shannon, John, Brandon and Michael. Great-grandchildren; Christopher, Jacob, Olivia, Little Matt, Elise, Kayla, Milana and Amelia. Ms. Marsh also survived by several nieces and nephews in the Cookeville vicinity. In addition to her parents Virginia was preceded in death by three brothers; Henry Clay Price, John price and baby Thomas Price. Two sisters; Magdeline Cantrell and Hattie Mae Julian. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
