DYER CHAPEL-Victor Kilgore, born on May 8, 1946, in Hazard, Kentucky, passed away on January 2, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 78. He lived a life rich with hard work and passion, transforming his dedication into a career as a forklift operator at Eastern Foam. Victor's enthusiasm was also evident in his work at Arch Unique, where he crafted picture frames-a job he truly cherished and enjoyed.
Having moved to Fairborn, Ohio, as a child, Victor was educated there and carried the values of his upbringing throughout his life. He was known for his unwavering work ethic, always ready to lend a hand and give his best effort in every endeavor.
Beyond the rigors of work, Victor found joy in the rhythm and movement of dance, particularly relishing the Tennessee two-step. His vibrant spirit shone through as an avid pool player, earning the affectionate title of "pool shark" among friends. He fondly spent many memorable moments at Boondocks Bar & Grill, where laughter and camaraderie thrived in the cherished company of fellow patrons.
Victor leaves behind his beloved son, Mike Kilgore, and daughter-in-law, Sandy; and his cherished sisters, Charlene Herron and Darlene Bourne, along with her husband, Robert. He joins in eternal rest his parents, Willie and Ruby Proffitt Kilgore; his brother, Johnny Kilgore; and his sisters, Ruth Randolph and Debbie Holmes.
