Funeral services for Mrs. Vicky Ann O'Rear, age 56 of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday July 14 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Dr. Martin Thielen and Rev. Whitney Mitchell will officiate. Vicky's family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Vicky died Saturday afternoon July 11, 2015 in the Signature Health Care Center of Putnam County. She was born October 25, 1958 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Charles Dow and Beatrice Vickers Vaughn. She was a life-long member of Cookeville First United Methodist Church. Vicky and her family founded, owned, and operated Vaughn's Monument Company where she served as a corporate officer. Vicky loved and cherished her family, friends, and animals. She will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Vaughn. Survivors include her husband, Larry O'Rear; brother and sister-in-law, David and Julie Vaughn; niece, Suzanne Vaughn, nephew, Eric Vaughn, and sister-in-law, Delores Smith all of Cookeville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Vicky's family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
