Trelbie Watkins

Ms. Trelbie Leigh Watkins, age 58 of Cookeville, died Friday October 27, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was born October 30, 1964 in Putnam County, TN to the late Jimmie Leigh Holman and Rebekah Clarice Garrett Holman.

Trelbie attended school in Algood. She was employed at Minit Mart in Algood and worked in customer service at Suntrust before physical disabilities prevented from maintaining a job.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Frances Holman; and a brother, Haskel Holman.

She is survived by sons, Anthony Griffith of Jamestown, TN, James "Cody" Watkins of Rickman. and Raj Roberson of Cookeville; a grandson, Xavier Griffith; sisters, Jimmie Ann (Charlie) Neal of Jamestown, Becky (Leon) Raines of Rickman and Sylvia Cunningham of Cookeville; a brother, Ron Holman of Jamestown; and by numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece, Mary Bennett.
