Tony Bartlett

Memorial services with military honors for Mr. Tony Gerald Bartlett, age 56, of Cookeville, will be at 12 noon Tuesday May 30 at Stevens Street Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Parkison officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Tony passed away Friday morning, May 26, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 7, 1961 in Shelby County, TN to the late Robert F. and Ruth Ann Moore Bartlett. Tony was a US Air Force veteran. He graduated from Jackson County High School in 1979 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Tennessee Tech University in 1990. He was a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church and served with facilities and maintenance staff. Most importantly, Tony was a loving husband, Dad, and Papa. He loved Jesus and shared his faith through preaching, mission work, and to those he encountered in everyday life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Greg and Joseph Bartlett. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jane Dietz Bartlett, who he married November 22, 1991 in Cookeville; five sons, Robert Bartlett of Ithaca, NY, Robert Zaccour, Patrick Bartlett (wife Tiffany), Brandon Zaccour, and Daniel Elrod, all of Cookeville; daughter, Amanda Hester of Kingston, NY; two sisters, Theresa Rich (husband, Jim) of Overton County, TN, and Cindy Riley (husband, Noel) of Bay Minette, AL; and 11 grandchildren, Nick, Gabe, and Willow Hester, April Bartlett, Candy, Cailey, and Ashlyn Frank, Patrick Bartlett Jr., Grayson, Makenzie, and Damien Elrod.
