Tom Calloway

BAXTER-Wilbur Thomas "Tom" Calloway, 80, of Baxter died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at SHC of Putnam County in Algood. A private interment will be held at a later date at Cooke Cemetery. He was born January 27, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Clarence Earl and Pearl Naomi Chappell Calloway. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Joshua Calloway and a brother Frank Calloway. He was retired from Monsanto Research. He was a member of Cookeville Life Church where he served as an usher. Survivors include wife of 56 years (Married July 20, 1962 in Northridge, Ohio) Shirley Ann Burgess Calloway of Baxter, daughter Christy (Wayne) Conner of Dickson, son Jeffrey (Tammy) Calloway of Ft. Worth, TX, brothers Larry (Carol) Calloway of Texas, Byron Calloway of Henderson, Nevada, 6 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Ashley, Samuel, Esther, Elijah, and Olivia Calloway.
