Tish Short

Funeral services for Letitia "Tish" Janine Short, age 60 of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday April 15 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Stanford will officiate. Entombment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. and again Friday from 9 a.m. until service time. Tish passed away Sunday April 10, 2022 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She was born October 31, 1961 in Dayton, OH to Joe Wilmoth of Cookeville and the late Reba DeLois Gore Wilmoth. Tish was the owner and administrator at JWC Companies. She attended Breakthrough Church. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed boating at the lake. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Short; sons, John (Kristin) Short and Jordan (Marissa) Short; grandchildren, Ben and Sam Short; sisters, Teresa (Greg) Bruce, Rhonda (Sullivan) Smith, and Melody West; sister-in-law, Sharon Wilmoth. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Joe Wilmoth.
