BAXTER CHAPEL-Timmy "Big Tim" Lynn Anderson, age 65, a beloved member of the Baxter community, passed away on February 12, 2025, at Highpoint Health-Riverview in Carthage, Tennessee, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on January 28, 1960, in Cookeville, Tennessee, Timmy dedicated his life to family, faith, and his passion for trucking.

He was a proud 1979 graduate of Upperman High School where he played football. Timmy embarked on a remarkable career as the owner and operator of his own trucking company. His work not only provided for his family but also allowed him to connect with countless individuals in the industry. Timmy was also a dedicated servant who answered the call to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1986, embodying a spirit of duty and commitment that defined many aspects of his life.

Timmy was a member of the Antioch Free Will Baptist Church in Baxter. He was known for his warm personality and welcoming demeanor, which drew others to him and enriched the lives of those around him.

In his leisure time, Timmy found immense joy in riding his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed riding the back roads with his dear friend, Duck Leftwich, watching for wild life, counting deer, and looking at the eagles at the lake. His passion for motorcycles was a testament to his love of life and the outdoors, and his stories of those rides will be cherished by family and friends alike.

Timmy is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lauren Burgess Anderson, and their cherished son, Ty Anderson, both of Baxter. He will also be deeply missed by his brother, Danny (Patricia) Anderson, and his sisters, Debbie (Mike) Rodgers and Angela Brown, all of Baxter, host of nieces and nephews.

He rejoins his parents, Leonard Anderson and Emogene Bryant Anderson, in eternal rest. Timmy Lynn Anderson leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and a profound love for his family and friends that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
