Thurman Lee Maxwell

COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Thurman Lee Maxwell, 68, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 at the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Mr. Maxwell died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born February 11, 1941 to the Late Lonnie Maxwell and Ora Nash Maxwell. Mr. Maxwell was the vice president of construction for Fairfield Glade TN. He was a member of the Wilhite Baptist Church and loved to fish as often as possible. His family includes His wife, Anna Sue Davis Maxwell, one son, John Maxwell; two daughters, Misty Smith and husband Randall, Beth Garner and husband Robert. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Meagan and Stephen Smith and Corey, Austin, Will and Isabel Garner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Miller, and a brother, Jere Maxwell Bro. Troy Caudle and Bro. Terry Geren will officiate at the services.
