Funeral services for Mr.Terry "Pedo" Hunter Lamb, age 79 of Cookeville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21st at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Bobby Sebastian will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dry Valley Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Terry's family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Lamb died Monday morning, November 19, 2018 at Life Care Center of Sparta. He was born December 18, 1938 in Putnam County, TN to the late Charlie and Velma Hunter Lamb. Terry possessed a strong work ethic, working as an auto body repairman, road supervisor and as a farmer. He was employed at the local Ford dealership for over 20 years and owned his own body shop, Lamb's Body Shop. He worked alongside his brother Red as assistant Road Supervisor for Putnam County. He enjoyed being outside working on the farm, raising cattle, pigs and ducks. He also enjoyed coon hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Angie Lamb Tellmann; brothers, Jerry Don Lamb, Bobby "Toot" Lamb, Paul Lamb and Billy Joe "Red" Lamb; and sisters, Louise Anderson, Betty Nickens, and Willene S. Lamb. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue Ray Smith Lamb; son and daughter in law, Jeff and Terri Lamb; daughter, Becky Lamb and fiance, John Schrader, all of Cookeville; grandchildren, Kali Lamb, Taylor Lamb, Fallon Terry and Reece Parks; sisters, Shirley Vaden of Cookeville and Susie (George) Sprouse of Dunlap, TN.
