Terry Gray Mathis

Funeral services for Terry Lee (Gray) Mathis, 57 of Silver Point will be Monday, February 16 at 10:30 A.M. from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home interment in Smellage Memory Gardens in the Boma Community of Putnam County. Mrs. Mathis died Thursday evening February 12, 2015, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1957, in New York to the late Carlton Wilson Dodson, Sr. and Nora Jean Richardson Dodson. She was a homemaker and member of Cookeville Life Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Kidwell, a brother Buddy Dodson, a step-daughter Jennifer Ann Mathis. She loved motorcycle riding, boating and camping. Survivors include husband Gary Mathis (Married November 6, 2014 in Cookeville) of Silver Point, 2 daughters and a son-in-law Angela Dawn Arnold and Casey Lynn and Jonathan Douglas, son Kenny Wade Arnold all of Silver Point, , step-daughter and husband Brandy and Brian Emerton, step-son Kenny Dean Mathis; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law Patty and Rick Cusick of Bloomington Springs, Sonja Dodson of Maryland; brother Kenny Dodson of Silver Point; grandchildren: Brittany Arnold, Brooke Arnold and significant other Mitchell Peek, Jordan Carper, Jeffery Gray, II, Dalton Gray and Rylee Douglas, great-grandchildren: Jerry Wade Peek and Brianna Paige Arnold, step-grandchildren: Victoria, Ashley, Shawn, Sadreanna, Serena and Elijah. Pastor Bobby Davis and Pastor Donnie Davidson will officiate. Family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M. and Monday after 9 A.M. at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
