Graveside services and interment for Terry Gail Thompson, 74 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, March 9 at 1 PM at Boiling Springs Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, everyone will meet at the cemetery. Bro. Stan Gantt will officiate.

Mrs. Thompson died Tuesday night, March 5, 2024 at NHC of Cookeville.

She was born July 25, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Willie J. and Ruby Elise Dunn Peek. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Peek.

Terry Gail graduated in 1968 from Putnam County Senior High School..

She retired as a beautician with Bessie's Beauty Shop of Cookeville.

Survivors include son, Eddie Thompson of Hermitage, TN; daughter, Rhonda Baxter of Gainesboro; sisters, Mary Elmore, Wanda Elrod and Norma Peek all of Cookeville; brother, Tony (Anita) Peek of Crawford, TN; grandchildren: Stephen (Chelsea) Patterson, II, Cody Baxter, Tanner (Jessica Emerton) Baxter, Brayden Baxter; great-grandchildren, Rayven, Pagan and Tate Patterson, Ava, Waylon, Charlie and Jesse Baxter, several nieces and nephews and her pet cat, Jinx.
