Terry Burton

BAXTER-A Gathering of friends for Terry Lee Burton, 72 of Silver Point, will be Tuesday, January 10 from 2 to 8 PM at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home.

Mr. Burton died Friday night, January 6, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 21, 1950 in DeKalb County to the late Walter Whitson Burton, Sr. and Hazel Jacobs Burton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

Terry retired from Purity Dairies of Nashville with 33 years of service

Survivors include wife of 50 years, (Married January 19, 1972) Ann Shanks Burton of Silver Point, daughter Jennifer (Rick) Varnell of Murphy, North Carolina, sons Lynn (Jennifer) Burton of Silver Point, Timothy (Hannah) Burton of Smithville, sister Keeble Helm of Silver Point, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
