A Celebration of Life Service for Terry Acheson, 54 will be held Friday November 28 at 7 p.m. in the Algood Family Event Center (124 1st Avenue, Algood) with Chip Pugh officiating. Terry's family will receive friends Friday from 4 p.m. until service time at the Algood Family Event Center. Terry died suddenly Monday November 24, 2014 at her home. She was born January 20, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Mrs. Marlene Foshey Grossert of Hales Corner, Wisconsin and the late Harry Paul Grossert. Terry was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church (Wisconsin Synod) in Milwaukee. She received her BS Degree in Health and P.E in 1983 from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin and served as Tennessee Tech Assistant Softball Coach for 15 years. Terry was a devoted animal lover and was a member of the Board of Directors for Friends of Cookeville/Putnam County Animals. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband of 33 years, "Tory" Acheson; son, Chuck Acheson both of Cookeville; and sister, Dr Carey Grossert of Hales Corner, Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Cookeville/Putnam County Animals PO Box 2615 Cookeville, TN 38502.
