Funeral Services for Terrie Joyce Elder of Cookeville, TN will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday March 25, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Ms. Elder passed on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Greene Valley Developmental Center in Greeneville, Tennessee. She was born December 14, 1961 in Memphis TN to Claude Samuel Elder and Joyce Evelyn Elder of Cookeville. She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Ms. Elder is survived by her parents; three Brothers Mark Samuel Edward Elder of Cookeville, Joseph Samuel(Lori) Elder of Cookeville and Steven Andrew Elder of Sparta. Uncles and Aunts; Darryl Elder of Sparta, Chuck (Connie) Keltner of Chattanooga, Linda Keltner of Sparta, Kathy (Hugh) Denton of Springfield TN, Ron (Donna) Elder of Delane FL, Dennis (Shirley) Elder of Sevierville TN.Terrie also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a family friend Jennifer Elder. Terrie was preceded in death by her grandparents, an uncle Danny Keltner, two nieces Daisey and Rose Elder, and an infant baby sister Sherrie Lynn. Bro. Jerry Phillips will officiate the Service.
