Teresa Faye Montgomery

DYER CHAPEL-Teresa Faye Montgomery, a beloved homemaker, passed away on October 3, 2024, in Baxter, Tennessee at the age of 47. She was born on September 23, 1977 in Spokane, Washington. Teresa was a graduate of Cookeville High School and dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm home filled with love.

Teresa was especially fond of spending time engaged in conversation with her children and grandchildren. Her ability to connect with her loved ones was reflected in the meaningful relationships she forged throughout her life.

She is survived by her son, Dylan (Kaitlyn) Nelson of Moss, TN; daughter, Tristen (Ashley) Sartin of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Jerry Montgomery of Baxter; sister, Patricia (George) Seagrave of Cookeville; and two half-sisters, Rhonda Powell of Freeport, OH, and Cynthia Coker of LaFollette, TN. Additionally, Teresa is survived by her grandson, Theo Nelson; and her partner in life, Joey Maxwell, alongside his children, Madison, Jaxson, and Dalton Maxwell, as well as his grandchild, Raelynn Maxwell.

Teresa was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Jean Ewing, whose memory will forever be cherished by those she left behind.

Visitation for Teresa Faye Montgomery will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Dyer Chapel, with the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Pastor Fabron Nicholson. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joey Maxwell, Dalton Maxwell, George Seagrave, Jerry Montgomery, Coe Richardson, Shawn Gibson, Jaxson Maxwell and Dylan Nelson.

Teresa will be deeply missed, yet her spirit and the love she shared with her family will remain etched in their hearts forever.
