Funeral services with military honors for Teddy Ray Jackson, age 69, of Bloomington Springs, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 24 at Dyer Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 - 3 p.m. Mr. Jackson passed away Sunday morning, August 21, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was born September 19, 1946 in Cookeville, TN to the late Jesse Willard Jackson and Geraldine Oliver Jackson of Cookeville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a US Army veteran. He was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods with over 27 years of service. Ted loved sports, he enjoyed bowling and playing pool. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sherild Bates Jackson (whom he married March 27, 1994 in Cookeville); two daughters, Jammie (Doug) Neely and Maryann (Sammy) Anderson, all of Baxter; two sons, James (Lori) Brewington of Cookeville and Mark Brewington of Bloomington Springs; two brothers, Jerry Jackson and Michael (Sherry) Jackson, all of Bloomington Springs; ten grandchildren, Jasmine Schneck, Nicole and Robbie Jones, Haylee Jackson, Chloe and Breanna Anderson, Nathan, Melisha, Tristan, and Marcus Brewington.
