Tana Davis

Funeral services for Mrs. Tana Judd Davis, age 68 of Sparta, will be held Monday, December 12th at 11 a.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Mike Campbell will officiate.
 Her family will receive friends Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
 Mrs. Davis died Friday December 9, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1948 in Cookeville to the late Robert Paul and Jean Judd. She was a 1965 graduate of Cookeville Central High School.

 Tana's life was dedicated to her family. She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother and especially loved her grandchildren. Tana worked as a secretary and medical transcriptionist for multiple companies throughout the years. She volunteered while her sons participated with Boy Scouts of America and was recognized with the Long Rifle Award for her distinguished service to Scouting. She also served as a tutor at Volunteer Christian Academy in Sparta. She has been a member of Trinity Assembly in Algood for the past 20 years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Davis; three sons and daughters in law, Mark and Frances Davis, Andy and Terra Davis, all of Sparta, and Matt and Jennifer Davis of McMinnville; grandchildren, Lillie, Austin, Tyler, Breanna and Ashlynn Davis; and brother, Parker Judd and wife Billie Jo of Cookeville.
