Tammy Abboushi

Tammy Denise Myatt Abboushi, age 51 of Cookeville, passed away Saturday September 11, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was born July 4, 1970 in Cookeville to Gerald and Ruby Myatt of Cookeville. Tammy graduated from Upperman High School in1989. She formerly worked as a loan officer at First Tennessee Bank in Cookeville. She enjoyed traveling and loved being a Gigi to her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Jonathan Abboushi of Cookeville; and daughter Kailey (Jeremy) Walker, Jr. of Monterey; grandchildren, Addalynn, Clayton, and Wyatt Walker; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Abboushi. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday September 18 at Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church. Bro Mike Adams will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services. The use of masks and social distancing are appreciated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church Children's Fund. Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
