Sydney Maddox

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Sydney Kay Maddox, age 79 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Pastor James Maddox will officiate. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Maddox died Saturday March 19, 2022 at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey. She was born December 30, 1942 in Detroit, MI to the late Harry Kennedy and Eleanor Broecker Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Lorin Gerber and Peggy Fiorillo. Mrs. Maddox is survived by her husband, Kenneth C. Maddox, a daughter, Kimberly Rhoten; sons, John Maddox and Matthew Maddox; grandchildren, Erica (Joe) Mize, Ashley Rhoten, Michael Rhoten, Jr., Johnny (Chloe) Fontana and Abbi Maddox, and by great grandchildren, Thomas Mize, Theodore Mize, Gideon Gere and Macy Fontana.
