Susie Puckett

Funeral services for Angela "Susie" Sue Puckett, age 64 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery in Monterey. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Susie died Sunday April 24, 2022 at home following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born June 11, 1957 in Cookeville, TN to the late Kenneth and Maude Ellen Williams Puckett. Susie worked at Cummins Filtration (Fleetguard) for many years, worked as a Mary Kay consultant and enjoyed buying and selling antiques. She was a spontaneous, fun-loving "people" person. She loved her family and in the last few years, enjoyed living in and exploring the Southwest with family. She fought her battle with cancer with an inspiring and optimistic spirit. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Justin Looper. She is survived by daughter, Andi Allen; son, Clint Looper and wife Rebecca, all of Cookeville; brothers, Kenny Puckett and wife Sherry, of Rickman and Jimmy Puckett and wife Mary of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Sandra Smith and husband Michael Demas Smith and Sarah Puckett, all of Cookeville, and several nieces and nephews.
