Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Susan Browning, age 65, of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday January 25 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home.Dr. Charles McCaskey will officiate. Interment will follow in the Shipley Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Browning passed away Tuesday January 21, 2020 at Life Care Center of Sparta. She was born March 6, 1954 in Putnam County, TN to Martha Charlene Raines Huddleston of Cookeville and the late William Clifton Huddleston. Mrs. Browing was a TTU graduate and homemaker. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bill Browning of Cookeville; son, Michael Duane Browning of Cookeville; two nephews, Scott and Rebecca Huddleston of Johnson City, TN, Tyler and Becky Huddleston of Chicago, IL; and several aunts and uncles. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Michael Huddleston. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
