Sue Weaver

Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Weaver, age 75 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday December 15 at 11 a.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Algood City Cemetery. Rev. Chris Sparkman and Rev. Tim Sharp will officiate. Sue's family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. She died Monday December 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 11, 1941 in Hartville, Ohio to the late Atlee P. and Susanna Cross Miller. She was a graduate of Hartville High School Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, along with being a special friend to those who became more like family than friends. She enjoyed spending her time hunting for great deals on antiques and sharing them with others at the Highway 111 Flea Market. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William "Bill" Weaver; daughter, Shanna Weaver; and by brothers, Wally Miller, William Miller and Atlee Miller. She is survived by her adoring family, sons, William Scott (Melissa) Weaver of Silver Point, and Steve (Lori) Weaver; daughters, Sherri, Shelley and Sharina Weaver all of Cookeville, ten wonderful grandchildren, Jennifer, David, Paul Jr., Elijah, Morgan, Emma, Becca, Noah, Gabe and Shanna; sisters, Irene Hershberger of Ohio, Elizabeth Mast of Delaware, Mary Alice Hostetler of Ohio, Fannie Yoder of Cookeville and Dorothy Weaver of Baxter; and brothers, Mahlon Miller and Dan Miller, both of Ohio.
