Hindu services for Mr. Shiva Bhakta Wagle, age 85 of Bharatpur- 12, Chitwan, Nepal are being held in Cookeville and Nepal. Mr. Wagle merged with God suddenly, Thursday June 29, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 10, 1934 to the late Chaturbhuj and Umakanta Ghimire Wagle. Deeply religious, Shiva was a Hindu priest and was highly knowledgeable in sacred scripture. Chanting and remembering God's name was his favorite thing. He will be remembered as a great father, husband, and as a noble, holy, peaceful and humble person. He has a very pleasant and kind personality with very sweet & adorable communication skills He worked as a writer in Bandipoor, Nepal for 4 years. He also served as security guard in TATA company India for 4 years but as an obedient brother of Late Hari Bhakta Wagle, resigned his prestigious job and worked as a farmer taking care of his ancestral properties all his life. He and His wife Indra Maya devoted their life taking care of his uncle, Kalidas' health affairs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an uncle, Kalidas Wagle. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Indra Maya Wagle; son, Dipendra Wagle and wife Amrita Thapa Wagle of Cookeville; daughters, Ratna Wagle and husband Balaram, Puspa Wagle and husband Granga, Sarita Wagle and husband Om, Menuka Wagle and husband Lava and Januka Wagle and husband Sunil; brother, Shree Bhakta Wagle; grandchildren, Bikash Soti & wife Kajol, Ishma Malla and husband Ajay, Abesh Malla, Rista Soti and husband Rajan, Isha Pokharel, Aadesh Malla, Skil Pokharel, Adiya Wagle Kafle and Subha Khanal; and great-grandchild, Rohan Soti.
