Shirlianne Freeman

Funeral services for Shirlianne Freeman, 84 of Morristown, TN formerly of Algood, will be Sunday, January 26 at 3 PM from the Algood Family Event Center. Interment will follow in Algood City Cemetery. Her son, Dan Baron, Jr. will officiate. Mrs. Freeman died Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Heritage Nursing Home in Morristown. She was born May 25, 1935 in Putnam County to the late Shirley and Letha Buck McCulley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands Danny R. Baron and Vernie Edward Freeman, son Vernie Edward Freeman, II, sister Juanita Heard, brother James Harold McCulley. She attended Putnam County Schools and was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired manager of the payroll department at Aladdin Industries of Nashville from 1965 until retirement. She enjoyed working in the garden and her flowers. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Danny "Dan" Jr., and Pinnie K. Baron of Hendersonville, TN, sister Linda Jenkins of Bulls Gap, TN, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday from 1 until service time.
