Shawn Lamberson

Graveside services for Shawn Tracy Lamberson, age 57 of Cookeville, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday March 26 at the Algood Heritage Cemetery. Pastor Steve Tiebout will officiate. Shawn passed away Saturday March 12, 2022 at his home. He was born October 17, 1964 in Cookeville to the late Joyce Lamberson (Preston) Stewart. Shawn was employed as a factory worker with various manufacturers. He attended The River Church. His hobbies included gardening, farming, hiking, swimming and writing poetry and short stories. Shawn also an avid Dallas Cowboy's fan. In addition to his mother and step-father, he was proceeded in death by a brother, Tony Lamberson; and sisters, Gillian League and Cleva Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Emily Hendricks Lamberson; son, Gabriel Lamberson of Cookeville; daughter, Gabrianna Lamberson of Cookeville; sisters, Vivian (Greg) Brown of Smyrna, TN and Tammy (Chris) Bumphus of Savannah, TN; brothers-in-law, Donald League and William Beasley; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Andy) Stewart and Elizabeth Hendricks; aunt, Marion Prigmore; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
