Sharon Wilson

Sharon Lee Wilson, age 78 of Cookeville and formerly of Bradenton, FL, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2022 with family by her side. Memorial services are being planned for a later date in Florida. Sharon was born October 30, 1943 in Lansing, MI to the late Lester Gaylord Benjamin and Lelah Maxine Gulick Benjamin. She was a retired administrative assistant for Manatee County government in Bradenton, FL. Sharon was a former Sunday School teacher and loved reading. She enjoyed walking her dogs and loved the beach and boating. She is survived by sons, Jeff Wilson of North Port, Florida, and Greg (Louisa) Wilson of Cookeville; daughters, Debbie Moore of Plant City, FL and Janette Fulton of Cookeville; step-sons, Steve (Trina) Wellslager of Lakeland, Florida, and John (Chris) Wellslager of Clewiston, Florida; sisters, Pam (Max) Kuerth of Zellwood, FL and Cheryl Benjamin of Morris, MI; brother, Glenn (Beverly) Benjamin of Hot Springs, AR; 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford John Wellslager; and sister, Judy Smith.
