Funeral services for Scott Wolf, 56, of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, June 16th at 11AM at Cookeville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Max Mayo and Rev. Drew Shelley officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4PM to 8PM at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper- Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home and Saturday from 10 AM until service time at the church. Scott passed away on Thursday morning June 14, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born September 5, 1955 in Knoxville, TN. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Laura Fields Wolf (whom he married September 8, 1979 in Knoxville) , two sons, Jason Wolf of Nashville; Tyler Wolf of Cookeville, and his daughter and son-in law Lindsey and Cody Jarvis of Nashville. He is also survived by his father, Barry Wolf, Brother and Sister-In Law, Todd and Becky Wolf, and Sister, Angie Sanders all of Knoxville; and seven nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Wolf of Knoxville. Scott was a 1978 graduate from the University of Tennessee with a BS Degree in Business Administration/Transportation Logistics. He was a member of the fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, and was well known as an avid University of Tennessee football fan. He was Vice President of Corporate Services with Averitt Express. Scott was an associate in the corporate office for over 23 years. Scott was a sports enthusiast and loved his time coaching Little League baseball and AAU Basketball. Honorary Pallbearers will be Associates at Averitt Express. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Scott Wolf Scholarship Fund organized by Averitt Express. Seven scholarships will be granted every year. Fund is setup with First National Bank at 412 South Jefferson Ave. Cookeville, TN 38501.
