Sarah Ruth Palmer

Memorial graveside service for Sarah Ruth Palmer, 80 of Baxter were held Saturday, July 17 at 3 PM at Palmer Cemetery in Silver Point. There was no visitation at the funeral home, family and friends gathered at the cemetery for the service. Bro. Dwight Henry officiated. Mrs. Palmer died March 9, 2020 from cancer. She was born in Morrison, TN on October 17, 1939 to the late George and Vander Mae Maxwell Palmer. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diann Palmer Bennett and followed soon after by granddaughter, Melissa Hester. Survivors include brothers George Palmer and Bobby Palmer, son Michael Palmer, 6 grandchildren: Bryan Palmer, Shawn Palmer, Jessica Palmer, Robert Hester, Andrew Hester and Matthew Hester, 17 great-grandchildren.
