Sandra Kay Handy

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Sandra Kay Handy, affectionately known as Kay, was born on May 25, 1965, in Smith County, Tennessee. She passed away on December 14, 2024, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Kay is survived by her brothers, Billy (Lisa) Handy, and Ray (Rosie) Handy; special nephew, Robert Cox; as well as her step-sons, Charles and Anthony Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Charles Wright; parents, Walter and Bertha Louise Honeycut Handy; brothers, Donnie Handy, James Handy, and Jim Handy; and her sisters, Becky Reynolds and Joyce Cox.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
