BAXTER-Memorial services for Ryan Lane Ward, 29, of Buffalo Valley, TN will be Saturday, April 23 at 3 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Military honors will be by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Ward passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his home. He was born February 2, 1987 in Cookeville, TN. He was a Marine Corps Combat Veteran. He had served two tours in Iraq and one tour in the Mediterranean. Survivors include wife of 5 years (Married June 7, 2010 in Cookeville) Renita Schindler Ward, daughter Brianna Ward and son Colton Ward , mother Diane Neiter Sullins and step-father Don Sullins , father Jerry Ward all of Buffalo Valley, sister and brother-in-law Mikelle and Joe Mitory of Lake Orion, MI, brothers and a sister-in-law Scott Ward, Michael "MIKE" and Mandy Perhay all of Cookeville, grandmother Dorothy Neiter of Dryden, MI. Family will receive friends after 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made for his children by contacting the funeral home. Rev. John Davis will officiate.
