Ruth Robinson

BAXTER-Funeral services for Lillian Ruth Robinson 95 of Baxter, will be Wednesday, February 2 at 11 AM at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Neal will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM and after 9 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Robinson died Saturday evening, January 29, 2022 at her home in Baxter. She was born August 20, 1926 in Silver Point to the late Amos and Lettie Roberts Herren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Robinson on January 30, 2002, son-in-law Ray Upchurch, grandchildren: Annette Woodard, Beverly Gail Harris and Christopher Carl Cole, sisters Hassel Hancock, Hazel Randolph, Vallie Chaffin, Veila Chaffin, brothers Charlie, Carlos, Leonard and Floyd Herren. She was a retired seamstress with Wilson Sporting Goods of Cookeville and also seamstress work for many in the community. Ruth was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. Survivors include daughters Sherran Upchurch, Donita (Harlan) Maxwell all of Baxter, Bonnie Przybylo of Cookeville, sons Garland (Angelita) Robinson of McMinnville, David Cole of Tullahoma, brother Ralph Herren of Baxter, grandchildren: Jamie Moss, Hillary Robinson Neal, Josh Robinson, Jesse Robinson, Brenda Carroll and Darlana Robichaud, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, special "Thank You" to her caregivers: Gaye, Tammy and Regina. Active Pallbearers will be Jesse, Josh and Randy Robinson, Jason Moss, Jeff Neal and Colton Elrod. Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931)858-2134.
