Ruby Jewel Lee

Graveside funeral services for Ruby Jewel Lee, 84, of the Cookeville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17 at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Lee died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Master’s Health Care Center in Algood. She was born June 12, 1924 in Putnam County to the late Oscar Dillard Goodwin and Mammie Lee Jackson. Mrs. Lee was a homemaker for many years and a member of the Church of Christ. Her family includes several nieces and nephews including Gerry and Julie Lee, Bill and Sue Lee, Ronnie Goodwin, Jeff Goodwin, Phyllis Stamps, Glenda Stairs, Bobby Hayden, Chuck Beach, Pat Peas and Jim Beach. She is also survived by two sisters and a sister-in-law. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Lee. Bro. Clarence Deloach will officiate the service.
