Funeral services for Roy Michael Palk, age 64 of Algood, will be at 12 p.m. Monday January 9, 2023 at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home.  Ken Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow at Clouse Cemetery.

His family will receive friends Sunday, January 8th from 1- 4 p.m. and again Monday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mike passed away Thursday January 5, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 18, 1958 in Putnam County, TN to the late James K. "Hoss" Palk and Daisy Woods Palk.

Mike was a carpenter, loving Husband, Father, and Pa to 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He is survived by daughters, Angela (Michael) Moore of Algood, Felicia (J.R.) Pollitt of Cookeville, Jamie Palk (Jeremiah Bobo) of Cleveland, TN, Ashley (Ryan) Barlow of Algood, and Mary Hale of Sparta; siblings, Kenneth (Gina) Palk of Spencer, Betty (Roger) Palk of Algood, and Richard (Carol) Palk of Algood; grandchildren, Destiny, Deveon, Tabitha Michelle Simpson, Samuel Matthew Cleghorn, Abby, Christian, Madison, Michael, Izzy, Harper, Tori, Lexi, and Khloe; and great grandchildren, Kiszer, JJ, and Maeve.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Faye Cleghorn Palk; grandchildren, Brittany Marie Farley and Christopher Michael Schipp, and brother, Don Palk.
