Rosa Lee Tucker

Mrs. Rosa Lee Tucker, age 86 of Silver Point TN passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at her daughters home and surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. She was born October 26, 1924 in Putnam County TN to the late Rube Jones and Martha Fisher Jones. Rosa was retired from the Belden Corporation where she worked for over thirty years. Also she was a homemaker and loving mother. Rosa loved to cook and enjoyed sharing that talent by feeding many at her table. She was a member of the Herrens Chapel Church of Christ. Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband Dell Tucker, three children Darlene Bickel and husband Everett, Darrell Tucker and wife Patricia and Michael Duane Tucker and wife Brenda, all of Silver Point. In addition she is survived by seven grandchildren;Rhonda Fisher, Jeff Tucker, Amy Vanwinkle, Darren Bickel, Barry Bickel, April Conner and David Thomas. Twenty two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Mrs. Milburn Williams and Mrs. Marie Carr, and three brothers Joe E. Jones, Larry D. Jones, and Manuel Jones. The family has chose cremation. Her greatest gift was to make everyone feel special and beautiful.
