Funeral Services for Ronnie Tucker, 54 of Buffalo Valley will be Monday, May 26 at 2 P.M. from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will be in Palmer Cemetery in the Silver Point Community. Mr. Tucker died Wednesday evening, May 21, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from injuries sustained in a logging accident in Silver Point earlier that day. He was born August 31, 1959 in Carthage, Tn. to the late Bradley "BRAD" and Ada Mildred Malone Tucker. He attended Upperman High School. He was a farmer and worked in the logging industry for many years. He loved to deer hunt, fish and work with his mules, mares and wagons. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle, he loved his family and spending time with them. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Breanna Tucker, sister Linda Tucker, brothers Jerry, Jimmy, David and Danny Tucker. Survivors include wife of 30 years Shelley Sullivan Tucker (whom he married June 11, 1983 in Putnam County), daughter Amber Tucker of Silver Point, son and daughter-in-law Brandon and April Tucker, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Valissa Tucker all of Buffalo Valley, grandchildren: Brittany Tucker, Kaitlyn Carr and Tucker Troglin and a host of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Bro. Tony Crow and Bro. Dwight Henry will officiate. Family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. and after 11 A.M. Monday.
