Ronnie Grider

BAXTER-Ronnie Wayne Grider, 48 of Baxter, died Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home. His wishes of cremation are being honored. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. He was born April 5, 1974 in Cookeville to Linda Hickey Grider of Baxter and the late Clarence Ray Grider. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randol Grider; grandparents: Herman and Nancy Thomas Grider, William and Amy Medlin Hickey. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church of Cookeville. Ronnie was a mechanic by trade and employed with Carlen Motors of Cookeville. He enjoyed playing guitar, working on cars, hiking, being outdoors, fishing and hunting. Survivors in addition to his mother include niece and husband, Linsey and David Dunlap; nephew, Alex Grider; great niece, Aliza Dunlap; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
