Ronald Walker

BAXTER-Memorial services for Ronald "Ron" Walker, 74 of Clarksville, formerly of Silver Point, will be Friday, September 30 at 1 PM at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 PM and after 11 AM Friday at the funeral home. Bro. Charlie Wills and Tim McGill will officiate.

Mr. Walker died Monday, September 26, 2022 at his home in Clarksville.

He was born December 5, 1947 in Nashville to the late Walter Thomas Walker and Viola Broyles Walker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Walker.

He was a graduate of Maplewood High School in Nashville and Tennessee Tech University with a degree in accounting.

Ron was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Ron was retired as Chief Executive Officer with LifePoint of Nashville.

He enjoyed golf, classic cars, and spending time with the grandchildren. He also liked RVing and riding in his "gator."

Survivors include wife Betsye Prichard Walker of Clarksville, daughter Charlotte (Bryan) Duhl of Clarksville, son Taylor (Lee) Walker of Signal Mountain, TN, grandchildren: Ellee Walker, Chloe Walker, Bryce Duhl, Braden Duhl and Lizzy Duhl.
