Ronald Ervin

BAXTER-Funeral services for Ronald Ervin, 74 of Lebanon, formerly of Baxter, will be Monday, July 6 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter. Mr. Ervin died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his home in Lebanon. He was born September 17, 1940 in Putnam County to the late Walter and Ruby Moss Ervin. He was a retired Investigator with the Medical Examiner's Office in Washington, D.C. with over twenty years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Mary Elizabeth Ervin, brothers Otis L. Ervin, Ernest Ervin and Walter M. Ervin, Jr. He attended Lebanon First Church of the Nazarene. He loved to work in his garden and lawn and taking care of animals. Survivors include wife Tammie Gleaves of Lebanon (Married February 14, 2011 in Gatlinburg, TN), step-daughters and husbands Olivia Faith and Loren Dougherty of Oklahoma City, OK, Kristen Hope and Brandon Ivey of Dickson, TN, step-son Jonathan Caleb Midgett of Lebanon, brother Compton D. Ervin of Mississippi, several nieces and nephews. Rev. Gary Wilson and Dr. Sherman Reed will officiate. Family will receive friends Monday after 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
