Robert Tate

Mr. Robert Donald Tate, age 79, of Sparta, TN died Thursday morning, May 5, 2016 at NHC of Sparta. No services are planned. He was born June 7, 1936 in Bisbee, AZ to the late Robert Vance and Gertrude Martin Tate. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special uncle, Malcolm Tate. Mr. Tate earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degree form St Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Mr. Tate was retired with over 30 years of contractual service in aviation with the federal government. He is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Becky Smith of Benbrook, TX, Sharan Ambrosioni of Abilene, TX, and Donna and James Powell of Clifton, TX; brother, Vance Tate of Crossville; sister, Joyce Ann Feuerbacher, of Daytona Beach, FL; and 6 grandchildren (Christopher and Matthew Smith, Shellie Little, Shalanda Tomlinson, Sonya Brumley and John Reagan); 14 Great Grandchildren and Nephews and Nieces.
