Robert "Butch" Lewis Lobato, Jr. passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, in Cookeville, Tennessee, at the age of 75. Born on January 13, 1949, in Denver, Colorado.


Butch was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert Lewis Lobato, Sr. and Dolores Mae Garcia Lobato, his sister, Josephine Hale, and his brother, Lovelle Brewer, Jr. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his beloved daughter, Christy Lobato of Cookeville, TN; his brother, David Lee Brown; and his sisters, Stella Catherine Garcia and Stella Bustamante, all of Pueblo, CO.


Throughout his life, Butch was known for his love of the outdoors, especially fishing, which provided him with countless hours of tranquility and joy. He was also a keen card player, delighting in the challenge of the game. Butch's love for animals was evident to all, as he always had time to care for and appreciate the company of his furry friends.


Butch's presence was a gift to the world, and his absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His stories, laughter, and kind-hearted nature will be dearly missed, but the legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.


As we bid farewell to Butch, we take comfort in knowing that his life was lived surrounded by those he loved and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness.


Butch had chosen cremation. No services are planned.
