Funeral services for Robert Fred DeSantis, 64 of Cookeville will be Thursday, November 5th at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Graveside service and interment will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. John Cemetery in Clay County, TN. Mr. DeSantis died Sunday night, November 1, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to Nellie Munch DeSantis of Clay County, TN and the late Robert DeSantis. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a retired Mail Carrier with U.S. Postal Service with forty years of service in Michigan and Tennessee. Survivors in addition to his mother include two daughters and sons-in-law Roxy DeSantis-Nunally and Curtis Nunally of Charleston, South Carolina; Ryan DeSantis-Tilley and Wesley Tilley of Oak Ridge, TN; son Lewis DeSantis of Cookeville; sisters and brothers-in-law Rosie and Jim Yates of Michigan; Juli and Mark Garrison of Georgia; brothers Charles DeSantis of Utah and Dino DeSantis of Nashville, grandchildren: (in birth order) Kaya Nunally, River Tilley, Willow Tilley, Henry DeSantis and Cyruss Nunally. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
