Graveside service and interment for Robert "Bob" Louis Huddleston, 92 of Cookeville will be Sunday, September 12 2 PM at Algood City Cemetery. Bro. Roger Cooper will officiate. The family will receive friends following services at the cemetery. Mr. Huddleston died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at NHC of Cookeville. He was born July 18, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Doris Aline Hackney Huddleston on August 31, 2006, mother and step-father Willie Ann and O.T. Phy, father John Carnie Huddleston, sister Ann Smith, brother Benton Huddleston. He retired as a shipping clerk with General Motors in October of 1988, he then returned to Cookeville where he considered home. Survivors include sister Edith Overby of Madison, TN, step-son Gary (Cindy) Bunch of Union, Missouri, 3 step-grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew, special friend Sherry Lalone of Cookeville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Children Hospital, Macular Degeneration Association or the charity of your choice.
