Robert Blackford

Graveside services and interment with Military Honors for Mr. Robert Lynn Blackford, age 86 of Cookeville, will be held Monday February 3 at 12 noon (E.S.T) at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka, Indiana. Mr. Blackford died Wednesday evening January 29, 2014 in NHC of Cookeville. He was born November 6, 1927 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Edgar Lynn and Hazel Kent Blackford. He received his BS Degree from Tri-State University and was a retired Tax Auditor with the State of Indiana. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Gee and Jenny Blackford; and his brothers Phil Blackford and John Blackford. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Sandy Blackford of Mishawaka, IN and Scott and Karen Blackford of Wilder, TN; daughter and son-in-law Amy and Kim Lee of South Bend, IN; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
